Cranfield Road Traffic Consultation

Please be advised that the Council is proposing to make the following Traffic Regulation Orders under Sections 1(1), 2(1) and (2), 4(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
· THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF MILTON KEYNES (CRANFIELD ROAD, MILTON KEYNES) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2019
The effect of the proposed Order will be to introduce ‘no waiting at any time’ restrictions along parts of Cranfield Road adjacent to Park Farm and Wavendon House (as illustrated on the attached ‘Proposal Plan’).
The proposed waiting restrictions come as a result of concerns over road safety which is caused by inconsiderate parking along Cranfield Road which is causing obstruction to motorists when accessing and egressing from local premises.
The proposed waiting restrictions will help alleviate obstruction and create a safer environment throughout the road.
The Council is now carrying out statutory consultation on the above proposal and invites you to comment.
Statutory consultation will end on 7th March 2019.
