9.30am Special Service at St Mary’s Church (Walton Rd, Wavendon) in honour of His Majesty King Charles III and his future reign over the UK and the Commonwealth.

2.30pm-4.30pm “The Coronation Big Cream Tea” at the Rectory (Walton Road, Wavendon) to celebrate the Coronation weekend. This is the perfect opportunity for members of the Parish from the newer and historic areas of Wavendon to come together and share a nice relaxing afternoon with one another. A scone with filling, hot beverage or squash will be provided. Donations welcome to contribute towards the costs of the scones and beverages. Bring your family and friends.

Bank Holiday Monday 8th May 2023

10am-12pm “The Coronation Big Help Out” a chance to volunteer in the Parish of Wavendon by volunteering to carrying out ac ommunity litter pick starting at Wavendon Community Centre (Walton Road MK17 8LH).

1pm-5pm Community Picnic with entertainment provided by Simon Gribble (Singer and DJ) at the new Wavendon Parish Council Community Hub (Dankworth Way, MK17 8ZN). MANY MORE ACTIVITIES ARE PLANNED. 

At 2.30 pm there will be an opening ceremony of the New Community Hub which will be carried out by the Mayor of Milton Keynes City Council. Cllr Amanda Marlow.
